Under the OPEC+ deal, Russia pledged to cut output by 228,000 barrels a day from the October 2018 baseline of 11.418 million barrels a day. Russia's oil output edged up in March to an 11-month high of 10.97 million barrels per day (bpd), slightly above a limit agreed under a global supply pact, energy ministry data showed on Monday. The deal could take total production cuts by the Opec+ group — which includes Russia and other producers outside the cartel — to 3.6m barrels a day, or almost 4 per cent of world demand, and Russia is rife with oil, and its economy is heavily dependent on the resource. By the end of last year, Russian oil production was at an all-time high, at 11.16 million barrels a day, according to Reuters. In 2017, gas made up 59% of Russia's exports and 25% of its total revenue, according to the World Bank. Russia produced an average of 10.83 million barrels (1,722,000 m 3) of oil per day in December 2015. It produces 12% of the world's oil and has a similar share of global oil exports. In June 2006, Russian crude oil and condensate production reached the post-Soviet maximum of 9.7 million barrels (1,540,000 m 3) per day. Under this definition, total world oil production in 2019 averaged 80,622,000 barrels per day. Approximately 68% came from the top ten countries, and an overlapping 44% came from the fourteen current OPEC members, in the table below. The top three producers have in recent history been (alphabetically) Russia, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.
